Advanced life Support

Advanced life Support

Zambia Flying Doctor Service currently has two turbo propeller single-engine Cessna 208B grand caravans with no advanced life support equipment. The current Cessna aircraft lacks advanced life support equipment, making evacuating critically ill patients difficult. When managing them on board the aircraft, difficulties arise. Most medical equipment is borrowed from hospitals in extreme cases, with the challenge that most equipment is incompatible with the aircraft. The Service is looking for an advanced Life Support system with a removable stretcher and system that allows loading from the side of a fixed-wing aircraft or either side of a helicopter, making patient care easier and supporting mass-casualty, accident scene response, repatriation, and inter-facility transfers.

The estimated cost of the advanced life support equipment is Sixty-nine thousand two hundred fifty United States Dollars (69,250 US)
